Shirley Garrett has been involved with Stir Up Success™ since its inception. She shares Julie’s passion for helping those who serve children, the unsung heroes of school nutrition. Her career as a professional speaker has provided her with opportunities to speak at state and regional school nutrition conferences across the country. Her contagious enthusiasm, coupled with her practical, yet powerful, approach to communication has helped people from every walk of life figure out what to say when they don’t know what to say.

Shirley is the founder of Speak Like a Pro™, a company dedicated to helping people make their message come A.L.I.V.E!™ For twenty plus years, Julie and Shirley have developed and designed training programs, coached each other, and become the best of friends. Known affectionately as Dr Shirl, she’s a great addition to the Stir Up Success™ team.
